RUGANTINO
Rugantino really flies under the radar. It has none of the hype of some of the "Italian" restaurants south of it on St-Laurent and is almost never mentioned in the same breath as the über-expensive temples of Italian gastronomy to the north. And that is unfortunate because Rugantino produces sometimes excellent, simple Italian fare at prices that won't break the bank and in a charmingly traditional atmosphere. Especially high marks for a well executed risotto.
