ROSALIE
Trendy and stylish downtown restaurant that serves simple bistro-style food in relatively generous portions before turning into an impromptu club in the evening. Suffers from the same disease as many of the restaurants on lower Saint-Laurent. The ingredients are quality and the conception of the dishes is generally well thought out but the execution is sometimes disastrous (witness a disgusting steak tartare which contained more mustard than beef) and nobody seems to care when it is. The vibe is pretentious and the bimbo factor is through the roof. The food would have to be a lot better than it is to put up with all the negatives.
