MR. MA
Claiming to be a Szechuanese restaurant, Mr. Ma serves a hodge-podge of westernized Asian food to the hordes of businessmen in Place Ville Marie. This is a lunchtime place with prices set to the level of the white collar clientele but dead in the evening. Mr. Ma uses fresher and more varied high end ingredients than your average restaurant but the end result is often more or less what you would get at your local Chinese joint in the West Island. It has a good reputation, but I suspect this has more to do with the absence of an authentic high end Chinese restaurant in Montreal than anything else.
