MONTÉE DE LAIT
A tiny restaurant in the upper plateau, Montée de Lait punches above its weight. The innovative menu allows you to pick four or seven appetizer-sized plates from a choice of entrees, mains, cheese and dessert. Every little plate was immaculate and well executed. Highlights included scallops with boudin , suckling pig with white beans and a cheese plate that is to die for. A number of wines that pair with the dishes are offered by the glass. I have heard complaints that the space is a little cramped and drafty in the winter but if you get a seat near the kitchen (where you can observe the cooks through a window) you should be allright.
