LES INFIDELES
Les Infideles is a top BYOW restaurant specializing in French bistro cuisine with a Quebec twist. Classics like escargots with puff pastry and veal kidneys in mustard sauce are served alongside dishes in which local ingredients take front and center such as caribou medallions with a red wine poached pear. The execution of the dishes here is generally quite strong (although I once was served roasted marrow bones which still had big chunks of cold coagulated marrow in them--which remains one of the worst plates I have been served in Montreal). The decor is a modern bistro look and the atmosphere relaxed. Highly recommended for an upper end BYOW experience.
