L'ENTRECOTE ST-JEAN
Do you like steak? Good, because that's what you're eating. L'Entrecote offers two set menus featuring their striploin steak with frites and a creamy mustard sauce. You can get it with a boston lettuce and walnut salad or go crazy and also get the soup and profiteroles for dessert. The quality of meals is variable here. I have had very good steak frites and decidedly average steak frites. The last couple of times the meat was of poor quality. People rave about the profiteroles but they're not very good (too hard). Luckily there are other choices for dessert. Not always a great meal but I loove coming here nonetheless and it's a nice experience if you're from out of town.
