LE PIMENT ROUGE
I like beer with Chinese food and am suspicious of any Chinese restaurant with a deep wine cellar like the 3,000 bottles stored in a glass tower in the center of Le Piment Rouge. Many people will tell you this is the best Chinese restaurant in Montreal and it is priced accordingly. Le Piment Rouge serves Chinese cuisine with influences from a gamut of regions in a very upscale dining room in the beautiful Windsor Hotel. The execution is lacking and most of the dishes are decidedly not authentic. The only reason to come here may be that wine collection after all.
