CAFÉ PRESTO
Tiny hole in the wall restaurant specializing in barely edible pasta. The redeeming value is that meals are incredibly cheap and even I have to admit that there is some cachet to a quick lunch in this crowded little restaurant surrounded by some very authentic looking Italians. It's light years better than grabbing a burger at Harveys and costs about the same and as an added bonus its located next to one of Montreal's more infamous strip clubs. If you come at lunch be prepared to wait in line. Avoid the canneloni at all costs.
