CAFÉ HOLT
This café in the Holt Renfrew department store specializes in high end open faced sandwiches in a futuristic-chic white and neon decor. With bread flown in daily from Boulangerie Poilâne in Paris and high end ingredients like ahi tuna its no wonder these sandwiches sell in the $20 range. The service is efficient and your waiter may present you with his business card. The whole surrealist vibe is softened by the hordes of Westmount housewives who keep the restaurant afloat. I should hate it, but I don't.
