BISTRO L'ENTREPONT

One of the oldest BYOW restaurants on the Plateau, Bistro l'Entrepont serves French inspired market cuisine in a cute restaurant  tucked away on a quiet  street off Mont-Royal. Over time, the cuisine appears to have become a little less classical and a little more country rustic. On a recent visit dishes were very well executed and provided good value for the money, with a special mention for the very enjoyable, yet simple, smoked trout entree. While no longer a BYOW stalwart, Bistro L'Entrepont remains a solid option and is one of the few BYOWs in the city where everything on the menu is likely to be, if not amazing, at least quite good.
