ANISE BAZAAR

I was not a great fan of the old Anise. Although it was a very highly regarded restaurant, I think they had a difficult challenge with their six and nine course set menus. It is a lot easier to make a knockout appetizer and main than to set up six home run dishes in a row and the prices were sky high. The new Bazaar format has really opened my eyes to the Racha Bassoul genius that I had heard so much about. Great food at very reasonable prices, excellent service and a beautiful restaurant on the most happening part of Laurier Ave. If you loved Anise, make sure you come to Bazaar. If you didn't, give it another shot. I did and came again the next weekend.
