i ate once at queue de cheval.
service was bad.
the waiter could barely be bothered to listen to me, i had to keep asking for bloody mary refills, he served the mushrooms halfway thru the main course, etc.
the interior of the resto is beautiful. essaris has enough money to cough up good style.
we were there on a company dinner, expenses paid.
i wouldn’t go there if i paid on my own, and after reading your nauseating experience, i’m glad i’ve never been back.

Great read! I much prefer 40 Westt to The Queue and I do feel it is worth the drive to the west Island. After all, its right off the 40 anyway.

Agreed. I don’t want to hate on the West Island but there is no way I’m driving out there to go to a steakhouse.

40 westt has dry aged beef as well and is in some cases better than the Q

As usual, great review. The low-cost lunch menu at Queue de cheval sounds like an oxymoron to me. Let’s take our expense accounts somewhere else!
